Dutch band C-Mon & Kypski have produced a novel idea for a music video, by getting their fans to record a single frame from their music video’s “template”. These are all inserted together and voila – a music video is created.
I’ve seen this concept used before but not in a music video, and for fan involvement this definitely gets a ten. I can imagine that it won’t be long before we see this concept in an ad soon, especially with big brands such as Peperami and Doritos turning to crowdsourcing for ad copy and creative ideas, with more following.
